Daily Ag Direction 2/19/25
Good Morning!
Markets were mixed overnight and this morning as corn set another high in the overnight trade as the March contract hit $5.0425. Weekly export inspections showed yet another good week for Corn, posting a marketing year high at 63.4 mbu on the week. Soybeans and wheat saw lower than expected export numbers.
Heat affects Argentina and Southern Brazil over the next few days and dry weather is also forecasted for Brazil. The snowfall amounts predicted for the Southern Plains didn’t come to fruition, so now the question becomes how much freeze damage will we see from these record breaking temps.
March KC Wheat is -3.5 @ $6.2375
July KC Wheat is -3 @ $6.4675
March Corn is down a quarter of a penny @ $5.0175
Dec Corn is up a half a cent @ $4.78
March Soybeans +2 @ $10.405
Nov Soybeans are down a half cent @ $10.575
