Daily Ag Direction 5/30/25
Looks like we a tracking towards a quiet end to a quiet week in the grains, with beans slipping lower after momentum from bean oil has stalled on lack of immediate clarity on biofuel demand. The weather is still not providing any fuel for a risk-on attitude among the funds and export sales are not creating any headlines either. Corn exports came in at the lower end of estimates and the trade has remained rangebound, with the only activity being with the old/new spreads. Wheat is drifting sideways without any strong needle movers as a bid under the Minneapolis market is failing to spill over to KC or Chicago. Looking towards next week, traders will be watching the weather models to see if there is any motivation for short covering.
